The DNR is proposing rule changes (NR 151) that would alter performance standards for farmers to limit pollution runoff in lakes and rivers.

Hearings are scheduled for the following days and times in the Madison area.

Feb. 10, 2010--Madison
Lyman F. Anderson Agricultural and Conservation Center,
1 Fen Oak Court, Classrooms A & B (1st floor)

Feb. 11, 2010--Wausau
Rib Mountain Municipal Center,
3700 N. Mountain Road (HWY NN)

Each hearing will begin with a one-hour informational session followed by formal testimony. The hearings will all begin at 1 p.m.
