The Woodman's commercials are really funny. Phil Woodman's enthusiasm for food is unrivaled, as his unique, but classic way of delivering his message: OUR FOOD IS CHEAP. And for thirty seconds, while I hear Phil tell me about $6 dollar 12-packs of paper towel (cheapest in Madison), I forget that Woodman's is the Wal Mart of the grocery world.
The stores (one on the east side and the other on the west side) are massive. The aisles never ending. The chocolate milk supply superior. And the liquor section, well let's just say Potosi Light might be the only beer missing.
And all for low, low prices. Phil buys in bulk you see. With food prices expected to soar and already pricey, Woodman's continues to offer a bag of Holey O's for $2. I don't know the economics of it, but hey I'm not going to argue otherwise...because they're employee owned!
